Official End User License Agreement governing WindowsUtils software products.
This End User License Agreement (“EULA” or “Agreement”) is a binding agreement between you (an individual or corporate entity) and WindowsUtils. It governs your download, installation, and operation of our Windows desktop software — including email backup utilities, mailbox converters, and file recovery applications.
By downloading, installing, or entering an activation key into any WindowsUtils application, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to the licensing conditions detailed below.
Fundamental Principle: Software is Licensed, Not Sold
When you purchase a WindowsUtils product, you obtain a non-exclusive, non-transferable commercial license to deploy the software on your hardware in accordance with your chosen edition. All title, intellectual property, and copyright rights remain the exclusive property of WindowsUtils.
1License Editions & Permitted Workstation Deployments
We provide specific licensing editions structured to match varying operational requirements:
Allows one user to install and operate the software on one dedicated end-user workstation for non-commercial use. Great for moving your personal email files or getting back your family’s stored files.
May be deployed at multiple workstations at the same physical corporate site. Designed for use in house to house migrations, mailbox archiving and corporate data servicing.
Provides grants approval for deployment across all company locations, international branches, and distributed employee workstations worldwide.
RESELLEROur client Solution: Designed for IT service companies, computer repair technicians and independent data consultants to provide data recovery, mailbox migration, and format conversion services to third-party end clients.
2Usage Limitations and Copyright License Protections
To maintain software integrity and protect our proprietary engineering:
- No Reverse Engineering:You agree not to try to decompile, take apart, reverse engineer, decode, or look into the source code or hidden algorithms in the proprietary file parsing software.
- Activation Credential Confidentiality: Your software license key and activation credentials are confidential. Any posting, distributing or publishing of activation codes on the internet, blogs or other public forums or key sharing sites will result in the immediate loss of all seats assigned to the codes.
- No Unauthorized Sublicensing:Without a prior written authorization, you may not rent, lease, sublicense, time-share, or repackage our binaries as part of third-party commercial software.
- Single Archival Copy: You may make one archival backup copy of the executable installation file for use as an emergency re-installation or disaster recovery copy.
3Software Updates & Technical Support Entitlements
We also regularly upgrade our utilities to align with more recent Windows builds, and updated mail server protocols:
- Maintenance Updates: Current and active licenses are entitled to point releases, stability updates, bug fixes, free of charge.
- Engineering Support:Assistance from our tech desk to handle installation questions, trouble shoot operational exceptions and retrieve activation keys.
4Limited Warranty & Mandatory Trial Evaluation
Windows Utils guarantees the software will perform significant tasks as outlined in our documentation. Since the decay of the physical storage media and corrupted mailbox are file-specific, we require that customers test the free demo version on their target files to verify recoverability prior to purchase of a commercial license.
5Governing Law & Severability
Any disputes or differences shall be subject to Indian Law. If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or can’t be enforced by a court, that part will be removed and the rest will still apply.
